TransAlta Tri-Leisure Center
Residents of the City of Spruce Grove, the Town of Stony Plain and Parkland County had an opportunity to shape an extraordinary legacy for their community. As a result, construction of the $28 million facility started March 21, 2001. The TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre is a dynamic space, full of energy and activity. It is a place where people of all ages can come to compete, learn, exercise, relax, meet and celebrate life. In a truly unique, made-in-the-region approach, residents of Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland County determined the final design and components that are included in the Centre.
