During Lent, we remember who we are: people of life who are called to say yes to all that gives life and shares life. Jesus tells us that if we believe in him, we will be freed from death. This is a mystery, and it is true. We choose life again and again each time we choose to be centered in loving God and neighbor. By each act of care and kindness, we say yes to life, to becoming who God made us to be. We show that we believe.
